There are 25 levels present. You have the option to either move left or right or jump. You must avoid the green slime at the bottom; this triggers game over. The end of the level is shown by a metallic tunnel out of the which the blob can escape. The blob is rather heavy, and may thus slide off of a platform if most of its mass is sticking out. It is also very malleable and thus it can shapeshift into tight spaces to a certain degree. The game features puzzle solving to a certain extent; for example you may have to trigger buttons/levers and use boxes to climb onto certain platforms.
